Heritage Homeschool Resource Center (“HHRC,” “we,” “us”) respects the privacy of the families we serve. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. Because we work with children, we take the handling of family and student information seriously.

Information we collect

• Parent/guardian information: name, email address, phone number, and the account login you create.
• Student information: each child’s name, grade, and (optionally) date of birth, along with any allergies or medical notes you choose to share so we can keep your child safe.
• Safety information: your emergency contact and the people you authorize to pick up your children.
• Enrollment information: the classes your students register for and their enrollment or waitlist status.
• Payment status: whether your registration fee has been received, and the method you used (for example, Zelle or Venmo).

What we do NOT collect

We do not collect or store credit card, debit card, or bank account numbers. Registration payments are sent directly to us through Zelle or Venmo using your own banking or payment app — those details never pass through or get stored on this website. We only record whether a payment has been received.

How we use your information

• To register your family and enroll your students in classes.
• To keep your children safe — sharing allergy, medical, emergency, and authorized-pickup information with the instructors responsible for your child’s classes.
• To communicate with you about registration, payment, enrollment, schedules, and important updates.
• To keep accurate records for the co-op.

Who can see your information

Access is limited to HHRC administrators and, for their own classes only, the instructors who teach your children. Instructors see the roster for their class — including student names, grades, allergies/medical notes, and authorized-pickup information — so they can care for your child during class. We do not sell, rent, or trade your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

How we protect it

Your information is stored in our website’s secure database. Account passwords are encrypted (we can never see them). Access to family and student records is restricted to authorized HHRC staff and the relevant instructors.

Your choices and rights

You can view and update your family’s information anytime by logging in to your account. If you would like to correct, download, or permanently delete your family’s information, contact us and we will help. When a family account is deleted, the children’s saved profiles are removed with it.

Children’s information

All student information is provided by a parent or guardian through their own account. We collect only what is needed to run classes and keep children safe, and we share it only with the staff and instructors who need it for that purpose.

Cookies

Our website uses only the essential cookies needed to keep you logged in and to remember your session while you use your account. We do not use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will revise the “last updated” date above. Significant changes will be communicated to registered families by email.
